Fight Night Combat Tournament
Japan Juggling Festival (JJF) is the largest juggling convention in Japan organised by Japan Juggling Association.
JJF is an annual festival exclusively for jugglers, organised by jugglers. It brings together juggling enthusiasts of all levels - from beginners to amateurs and professionals - in one place to enjoy juggling as an art, sport, and recreational activity from various angles.
The festival was first held in Tokyo in 1999 and has since been held every year in different locations throughout Japan. The 25th edition of JJF is scheduled to take place this year, in 2023. The festival's concept is built around core ideas as below;
Create opportunities for Japanese jugglers to meet and interact
At JJF, jugglers from all over Japan can meet together, practice together, and exchange information. In addition to the practice space where you can interact freely, various projects will be held such as workshops where you can learn techniques and theory, games related to juggling, and free performances where you can show off the results of your daily practice.
Aiming to improve the level of juggling in Japan
JJF hosts the "Championship Stage" juggling competition. The performers perform within a set time and compete on the level of their technique and originality. One of the aims of this event is to encourage excellent jugglers through the championship stage and contribute to the development and improvement of the level of jugglers in Japan.
Developing Japanese juggling culture
In the corona misfortune, many people have been imposed a big constraint on their activities. Even in the juggling community, many events have been forced to cancel or scale down.
In recent years, the number of juggling events has been gradually increasing as the infection situation changes.
At JJF, we will take infection control measures according to the situation and hold events that you can participate in with peace of mind. We hope that the JJF will further develop Japanese juggling culture.
