Pöchlarner Jonglierili
When?
Starts: Friday 15th June, arrival at 12:00, class and gym hall open at 14:00.
Ends: Sunday 17th June, classrooms close at 12:00, gym halls close at 16:00.
Where?
Secondary school Pöchlarn, Nibelungenstraße 5, 3380 Pöchlarn
Pöchlarn is inthe Mostviertel (Lower Austria),
on the southern bank of the danube, about 28 km west of St. Pölten.
Facilities?!
For juggling there is the big gym hall, and for sleeping another hall is available.
There is also a field inside the school grounds, which can be used for camping, juggling, barbecues etc...
Aswell as that the city park is just across the street, containing a roofed bouncing hall, and many fields for juggling, playing, or just chilling!
How to get there
By train:
There is a train service all the way to pochlarn, and then its only 5 minutes to the convention site.
The train jouorney from Vienna and Salzburg takes about an hour and half.

By car:
Take the A1 highway from Salzburg to Vienna, or vice versa, then take the exit sign-posted Pöchlarn. Drive to the roundabout, and take the secound exit (to Pöchlarn/Pöchlarn Mitte), go right at Bahnstraße, after 200m turn left to Nibelungenstraße.
And voila you are here
By bike/unicycle:
Pöchlarn is on the danube bycicle path, a very nice route from Passau to Vienna. At the Pöchlarner Skater area change onto the road. You'll see a carpark and a big tower. Then drive through the city next to the coffee Jeronimo, till to the of the shoppingstreet- When you are at a normal street take the first right and after the first left. And you can see the city park on the left and the school is on the right.
Welcome to the convention.
By airplane:
Linz and Vienna have airports close by, and after that there is a very good train connection.
Accomodation:
In the school:
Find yourself a space in the gym hall! (bring a sleeping bag and camping mat)
For families there is the option to stay in a classroom, make sure you request this in advance
Camping:
On the field in front of the school.
Please note: The doors of the school are closed from 1:00 - 7:00 and can only be opened from inside. Please organise a night porter, or somebody inside with a phone.
For people sleeping inside its no problem, the doors can always be opened from inside. They are all emergency exit doors.

Breakfast:
breakfast is included, but please bring your own dishes.
For other meals there is a pizzeria, a chinese restaraunt and others available.
There is also a supermarket, Interspar a 5 minute walk away.

Friday 15th June
12:00 Arrival, free juggling, workshops
at about 15:00 the gym hall opens, and classes are available
evening: fire!!!
Saturday, 16. June
9:00-11:00 breakfast
free juggling, workshops
20:00 Show
Sunday, 17. June
9:00-11:00 breakfast
12:00 empty the classes,
till 16:00 there is the possibility to stay in the gymhall
Afterwards, anyone who wants can join in the cleaning up, then chill out at the Lassi pond
Cost:
If pre-registered (until 20.5.2012): EUR 22,- ,
At the entran ce: EUR 28,-
Day tickets: Friday: EUR 10,-,
Saturday: whole day: EUR 15,-,
evening show only: EUR 10-,
Sunday: EUR 7,-
Children (age 10 or younger): Please, make a contribution.

(If you wish to cancel your registration before 20.5.2012, EUR 15,- will be refunded. After this date no refund will be granted.)
Please note:
We are looking for helpers. Please, volunteer for setting up the festival, preparing breakfast, or as a security guard or door opener at night.
We are also looking for people who want to do a workshop or have an act at the Saturday evening show.
The school's sound equipment can be used. Please, bring your own CDs.
Barefeet or indoor shoes only in the gym hall.
No fire, paraffin, spitliquid, or similar things in the school
No animals to be brought into the school area
Participation in the Juggling convention is at your own risk.
